Forensic Reconstruction

In an exhibition at the Tom Thompson Gallery, "The Persistence of Doubt", Louise worked with artist Michael Markowsky to create a reconstructed face from two photographs of a skull. She sculpted a clay "portrait" of the skull and then created a reconstruction on a 3D printed copy of her sculpture.
In an attempt to use my skills to benefit my community in a concrete way, I decided to take classes in forensic reconstruction. These are pictures from two classes taken with Karen T. Talyor, the first at the Scottsdale Art School in Arizona, the second at the Forensic Anthropology Department the Texas State University.
